The new tenders give more detail to Network Rail’s previously announced search for partners to join its capital delivery works framework in the North West & Central region, bumping up the value from a previously reported £1.19bn.Network Rail details three
The different framework categories are now detailed individually. They reveal that Category B medium projects is worth £695M; Category C small to medium projects is worth £358M; and Category D minor works and reactive response service is worth £229M.
All agreements are for Control Period 7 (CP7), which runs for five years from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2029, following a six month mobilisation period. In the cases of the Category B and C frameworks, there is an option to extend for two years dependent on the suppliers’ performance.Network Rail details three
The deadline for applications is 12pm on 29 July. According to the previous tender, the contract awarding is anticipated for October 2023.
